Eligibility
Students from Catholic, public and private schools who reside south of Highway 401 (and the students from St.
Marcellinus Secondary School catchment area) are eligible to apply to St. Francis Xavier Secondary School PreInternational Baccalaureate Diploma Program. St. Marcellinus Secondary School boundary map:

Admission to the Pre-International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is based on:
Grade 7 Final Grade Report Card (different final percentage is assigned to the core subjects - English,
French, Mathematics, and Science, and to the non-core subjects; we also evaluate the teacher's
assessment of the applicant's Learning Skills and Work Habits), and
2. SECONDARY SCHOOL ADMISSION TEST (SSAT-Upper Level)

The SSAT is a standardized norm-referenced test designed to measure a student's potential performance
(it is not an intelligence test). The essay component of the test will not be administered. Please visit the

Saturday, NOVEMBER 15, 2014:
SSAT will be administered by Prepskills Inc. in our school. Your child
will be placed in one of three sessions at the time of application:
Session 1: 8:30-11:00; Session 2: 11:30-2:00; Session 3: 2:30-5:00.
