As a Church, we want to bring people to know Jesus, and into
membership of His family; to develop, encourage and
motivate them to worship God and to serve Him in the Church
and the community.

This morning we give a very warm welcome to Phil Sparkes from West Road
Church and his subject is as follows:
"The Secret of Greatness"
There is something in most – if not all of us - that
wants to be valued and appreciated.
We can easily feel inferior when in the company of
successful, achieving people.
So what is the secret of greatness?
I might just te
tell you - but then it won't be a secret
anymore!
nymore!
Evening: We welcome back Paul Brown, and look forward to the third instalment
Eve
instal
of the
Nehemiah series.
Week Three: Nehemiah and the Work of God
Bible Reading: Nehemiah chapter 4
Nehemiah had shared
his burden “Come, let
us rebuild the wall of
Jerusalem” (2:17) and
the people had
responded “let us start
rebuilding” (2:18)
They built it well and in
such a short time that it showed the evidence of God’s
hand upon them and that He had helped them (6:16).
But how does that relate to us today?
What wall are we to be building today as God’s people?

BRBC GIVING - Many people give generously to the work of the Gospel at
BRBC by monthly standing order direct to our bank account. Most of these
are also signed up for the Gift Aid scheme which allows the church to reclaim
a significant amount from HMRC, provided they are UK taxpayers.
On Sunday mornings we also take up an offering for anyone to give by cash or cheque, and yellow Gift Aid
envelopes are provided in the pews for the same purpose of reclaiming tax. If anyone would like more details of
how to give regularly or to sign up for the Gift Aid scheme, please see David Hitchcock. No matter how much
you give or by whatever means, we thank you for your continued prayerful and generous financial support.
If anyone is a trained First Aider,
please could you make yourselves
known - as you never know when
you may be needed! Please give
your names to Rachel Balmer.
Thank you.
