DESCRIPTION
Haley's Architectural Mineral-Core, Positive Pressure, Category A
Fire Doors are intended for use where a 45-Minute fire barrier is
required. These doors are listed by Warnock Hersey International
and bear a W.H.I. label.

Maximum Size:
4'-0" x 8'-0" Single Swing (no intumescent)
8'-0" x 8'-0" Regular Pair (4-point latching:
concealed intumescent at meeting stiles only)
4'-0" x 9'-0" Single Swing (concealed
intumescents both stiles and top rail)
8'-0" x 9'-0" Regular Pair (concealed
intumescents both stiles and top rail)
8'-0" x 8'-0" Double-Egress Pair (concealed
intumescents both stiles and top rail)
4'-0" x 3'-4" max. transom with concealed intumescent 4 edges. Transom bar required.
Note: Maximum size may be restricted by specified hardware.

Stiles:
1" G.P. Firestop, minimum. Will vary by
door size and hardware.
Rails:
Top Rail: 1-1/2" G.P. Firestop, minimum.
Bottom Rail: 1" G.P. Firestop, minimum.

Faces:
All commercially available hardwood-veneer
species, medium-density overlay, highpressure laminates, and hardboard.
Lights:
1296 sq. in. maximum 1/4" labeled (PWG)
glazing material installed in a listed frame
not nearer than 6" to any edge of the door.
Maximum 36" width (min. 3") and 54" length.
U.L. listed viewers not larger than 1" in
diameter (all dimensions to visible glass).
Larger sizes possible when using special fire
glazing material.
Fusible Link
1140 sq. in. maximum area allowed in
Louvers:
lower 40" of door;maximum width 38";maximum
height 30"; minimum 5" from edge of door or
hardware preps;minimum 10" from door bottom.
Not allowed in doors with fire-exit hardware
or vision panels.
Pre-fitting:
May be pre-fit to net sizes as specified.
Machining:
Must be factory machined for hardware as
specified or by an authorized distributor,
licensed to machine fire-rated doors under
label service.
Metal Edges:
Not allowed on stiles which contain an
intumescent-edge sealing system.
Warranty:
Life of original installation. See "Haley
