Nursing Supervisor. The ideal candidate for this position must meet the following requirements:







Ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Promotes and maintains agency compliance with federal,
state and local regulatory agencies.
Assists the Director of Nursing in all duties and acts in his/her absence or as requested.
Ensures that each client receives the highest quality of care from our field staff.
Prepares the client’s Care Plan and review the plan every 30 days for skilled cases and every 60 days for
unskilled cases.
The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for opening new client cases and orienting appropriately trained field
staff to the client and to the Plan of Care.
Prepares and maintains the Doctor’s orders (485) and communicate with all member of the client’s
healthcare team.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
Education: A current License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey and a minimum of
one year professional experience as a registered nurse preferred. Knowledge of Federal and State laws,
regulations and guidelines pertaining to home health care; Geriatric Nursing Knowledge; Pediatric Nursing
knowledge. CPR certification required.
Experience:








Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state
licensure requirements for the State of New Jersey.
The ability to demonstrate tact, patience, enthusiasm with a positive attitude toward all age
groups of clients, demonstrating leadership and supervisory skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Must be able to supervise and instruct others.
Knowledge of current and established professional nursing concepts, principles and practices.
Knowledge of CAHC requirements and the accreditation process.
Administrative skills to effectively manage and direct staff and services.
Leadership, communication, conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
