for your own students, who are appearing for Olympiad.
Objectives of “International Commerce Olympiad-2014”:
Identifying talent in Commerce subjects
Providing an open platform of competition to the young students
Providing opportunities to young and talented students to solve challenging problems in Commerce subjects.
Promoting excellence in Accountancy and Business Studies
To encourage the students to think beyond the textual knowledge
To assess the conceptual understanding /clarity of the subjects
To develop a feel for competitive exam which the students may pursue after schooling like BBA or CPT
exam conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
• To assist in preparing for HOTS as a part of CBSE exams

Prizes & Recognition:
• Merit Certificate shall be given to all those who secure 60%
• Students obtaining at least 40% marks
• A topper with a minimum score of 75% marks of each class (from each school) will make the candidate eligible
for a trophy and certificate of excellence.
• Memento to each school in recognition of participation in International Commerce Olympiad -2014
• Certificate of Appreciation to coordinators and concerned Accountancy and Business Studies teachers
• Overall topper of the Olympiad of class XI and XII shall be honoured separately with the title “Vanijya Shree”
• Top three schools will receive a trophy for the maximum participation
Last Date:
• For submission of ONLINE Registration Form : 18th October, 2014 (Saturday) and Hard Copies of
ONLINE submitted forms (Duly attested by Principal) must reach to CTA Office before 30th
October 2014 (Thursday)
• For Schools located at overseas: Last Date for ONLINE submission 22nd October, 2014 For hard
copies: 31st October 2014
Format of Olympiad: Multiple Choice Questions with 0.25 negative marking.
Levels of the examination: Classes XI and XII separately
Time Allowed: 2 Hours Time: 9.00 to 11.00 AM
Maximum Marks: 100

For Schools of Delhi Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad and Gurgaon : `170 only
( ` 30 per candidate to be retained by the school for incidental administrative expenses)
For schools of other states : ` 220 Only (` 30 per candidate to be retained by school)
For schools of overseas : ` 500 only ( ` 100 per Candidate to be retained by school )

2. Nominations received beyond the date mentioned above shall not be entertained, STRICTLY.
