Recognize that your child is not trying to make your life miserable
or difficult. He or she is simply responding in a very childlike way
to something feared. Go to www.kingdomkidsflc.org/#/parent-page/

From Iowa to Florida, the family of five came looking for opportunity.
They stayed in a motel and when money was running out, they came
to us for help with one more night while looking for work. We gave
them two more nights in the motel. This week, the mother returned
asking for help with clothes for their teen-age son because the “kids were
making fun of his clothes” and that was gladly given. They are in a
home now—the father has a good job—and the mother is looking for
a job. This is the kind of success story that keeps us sorting, cleaning
and selling merchandise!— Nancy McMillan

Liver Damage from Herbals and Dietary Supplements
During the past 10 years, liver injury from herbal and dietary
supplements has doubled. Researchers analyzed data from over
800 patients who sustained liver damage from medications
(acetaminophen excluded) or herbal and dietary supplements.
Injuries jumped from 7% of cases in the first two years to 20%
10 years later. Liver damage from dietary supplements required
more transplants than injury from drugs.
Positive Tip:Be very cautious of using herbals or dietary
supplements without consulting with your physician.
