A Message From Our President
» Washington is more than just the nation’s capital and the capital of the free
world. To us and to our audience, it’s is our hometown. It’s where we live and work,
buy and decorate our houses, take care of our families, invest our resources, enrich
our lives and our communities.
At Washingtonian Media, we believe it’s our job to help Washingtonians get
the best out of life in this region—find the best doctors, dentists, schools,
restaurants, getaways, and other professionals and products to help them
accomplish their goals. We reach educated and affluent achievers who have
counted on us for 49 years to deliver the information they want and need in
entertaining, eye-catching packages targeted to a discerning audience.
Our flagship magazine, Washingtonian, is the region’s leading monthly magazine,
with more than 300,000 readers and five National Magazine Awards.
Washingtonian Bride & Groom, a semiannual wedding magazine, has won two
City and Regional Magazine Association “gold” awards and delighted brides and
wedding vendors alike. Washingtonian Welcome Guide provides an invaluable resource to the millions of visitors who come to our area annually and the thousands
of hotels, restaurants, and businesses who seek to reach them.
