Once you have done this you can continue to research any tutorial sites for your research task. TODAY Define what is meant by “Traditional Animation” Plan and produce and present a presentation that provides examples of these. Defends the choice of animation type for given situations. You will need to provide appropriate and well reasoned examples of: Hand drawn (cel) animation Flick Book Cartoons How animation works Use of GIFs English – Research techniques - Curate DO NOT use the first example Google/Wikipedia throws at you! This will bore you and your audience. RESEARCH TASK You will be asked to research a specific skill in Flash that you have not been taught. This is to go towards your project. Document this new skill using Flash. You will be asked to show an example of this skill and write a brief explanation. Remember to reference where you learnt the new technique. WRAP UP How do we know we have defined “traditional animation”? Write on a post-it 2 things you now understand that you didn’t at the beginning of the session Compare this with the person sat next to you – have you chosen different things?
