Pastor Rick
Peter begins his letter to the scattered Believers
by encouraging them to rest in a "living hope". This
"hope" is alive because the Lord Jesus is also alive,
and He cannot die. Peter understands the trials that
these Believers have gone through, and more
importantly what they are destined to endure. He
desires their success and spiritual growth in spite of,
in the midst of trials.
The Christian "walk" is filled with trials, as the
Lord Himself experienced and was victorious in.
While we "hope" for rest and peace, the reality of
following Christ is that there are difficulties to
experience, and faith to be perfected.

1 Peter 1:3

He has caused us to be born again to a living hope
through the resurrection of Jesus Christ
from the dead.”

General Information
May we ask you a question?
Do you know what Jesus did for you?
Do you know how to have Eternal Life?
THE BIBLE SAYS:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death” Romans 6:23
“But God demonstrated His own love for us in this: While
we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and
believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
you shall be saved.”
Romans 10:9
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be
saved.”
Romans 10:13
Would you like to tell God you are trusting Jesus Christ
as your savior? If so, why not pray right now and tell Him
that you are trusting His Son? Your prayer can go
something like this:
“Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need your
forgiveness. I ask You into my life to be my Savior and
Lord. Please forgive my sins and give me your gift of
eternal life. Thank you for dying for me and saving me.”
That’s all it takes to trust your heart, your life on earth,
and your eternal life to Jesus Christ. The Bible says, “He
who hears My word and believes in Him who sent me has
everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has
passed from death into life.”
John 5:24
Now that’s a promise you can stand on!
If you did ask Jesus into your life today, please let us
know. We would love to help you on your new journey
with Jesus Christ!

11/10 Psalm 103 Several times it is written in this Psalm, "Bless
the Lord". What is the meaning of this? How can we "bless" the
Lord?.
11/11 1 Corinthians 15:12-58 This is a rather well-known
passage regarding the Resurrection of Christ. What does it teach
about the importance and the power of the Resurrection?
11/12 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 What is the "day of the Lord"
according to this passage? How are God's people to regard this
"day" in daily living? What si the great promise given here?
11/13 Acts 4:23-31 Read the context of this passage. What is the
significance of the prayer of these Believers? How were they able
to "rejoice" in this trail? How do Believers today rejoice?
11/14 Luke 12:36-40 Again, read the context of this passage. In
light of the context, what is Jesus saying about the Revelation of
Christ at His second coming?
