TED Ed Club—If you love TED Talks, join CVU’s new TED Ed Club to watch and discuss TED Talks and videos,

pursue topics of interest, and create TED lessons/talks to share! Our first meeting is Wednesday, November 5
at 7:30am in Room 205.
Great Advisory project, Key Club, or Grad Challenge!!! Red Cross Blood Services is looking for 3-5 people
(students/adults) to serve as volunteers at the blood drive. Positions are: Greeters and Canteen (food and
beverage) Servers. That’s it. The blood drive runs 12:30–6pm on Nov. 5th. Also looking for help with additional
but not required things like: write articles in the local paper encouraging blood donation…speak to student,
religious, civic, business groups about donating…put up posters in the town…use electronic media to promote the

✩ CVU Travel Seminar: Shakespeare in England 2015! ✩ WHAT? Study the most influential writer of the
English language, in the country where he lived and on the stage for which he wrote! Earn .5 English or .5 Fine

WHEN? Ten special days in England in July 2015, preceded by…four pre-trip seminars during the spring of this
school year. WHO? Teachers, Robin Fawcett & Joe Greenwald, up to twenty-five CVU students from any grade!
