The Southern African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with GIZtakepleasure in
inviting you and your business associates to a conference on Photovoltaic-Diesel Hybrid Systems.
Mozambique’s potential for solar energy is enormous, with an annual solar irradiation of up to 2.206
kWh/m2. But still, access to energy and security of supply remain achallenge throughout the country.The
installation of Photovoltaic-Diesel Hybrid Systems offers a cost-effective and sustainable alternative to
conventional diesel based power supply - especially for small and medium enterprises.
The purpose of this conference is to encourage discussions on renewable energies, in particular PV-Diesel
Hybrid Systems, between Mozambican and German experts, businesses and guests.
