Dear Colleagues,
Lucknow, the historic city of Nawabs of Awadh, is well known
for its etiquette, hospitality, cuisines, chikankari and
Imambaras. The exquisite monuments that were built during
the ancient times are still preserved for the present to see and
cherish. It is well connected to all parts of India by road,
railways and air. The climate of Lucknow in December is cold
(10-200C) and the participants are advised to bring warm

Greetings from the organizing committee. It is a great honor
and privilege for us to invite you to the upcoming XXXVIII All
India Cell Biology Conference and International Symposium on
“Cellular Response to Drugs”. There is a constant need to
update our knowledge with the latest developments in
research. In this pursuit our effort will be to bring some active
researchers in their field with excellent science in the form of
invited lectures, oral presentations, poster sessions and other
informal academic interactions in the meeting.
CDRI, being a drug research institute, may offer a flavour
different from those seen in earlier Cell Biology Conferences.
The scientific content will include sessions not only in areas of
basic cell biology but also those related to diseases, treatments
and therapies. Your presence will enrich the scientific and
intellectual milieu of the conference immensely apart from
encouraging fruitful interactions.

Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) is one of the premier
institutes of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research
(CSIR) of India headed by the Prime Minister of the nation as
its president. It is considered to be a pioneer research
organization in the field of biomedical research where all the
infrastructure and expertise are available to develop a drug
right from its concept to market. The very latest techniques
and methodologies are employed for developing drugs,
diagnostics and vaccines to combat diseases prevalent among
mankind in general and Indian population in particular.

A letter from the supervisor/Head of the Department should
accompany the filled in registration form confirming
registration of the candidate in Ph.D. programme.
HOW TO PAY: The registration fee in the form of demand
draft/multicity cheque (A/c Payee) drawn in favour of “AICBC
2014” payable at Lucknow should be sent along with
registration form to reach us latest by October 31, 2014.
MEMBERSHIP OF ISCB: Those seeking membership may do so
by submitting the duly filled membership form* along with the
prescribed fee through a separate multicity cheque (A/c Payee)
in favour of “AICBC 2014” payable at Hyderabad.

Registration fee includes conference kits, access to inaugural
function, scientific sessions and exhibitions, tea/coffee breaks,
lunches and dinners.
Accommodations are limited and will be given on first cum first
basis. Participants registering after 31st October 2014 will not
be considered for accommodation by organizers. However, a
list of budget hotels will be provided and participants are free
to make their arrangements.
Registration fee and membership fee should NOT be combined.
