very exciting.
I will keep you posted on any more developments.

Parent Information
The Department has publishing a very informative fact
sheet for parents on cyberbullying and what to do or
not do, if you find your child in this situation.
It is really important as a parent to have access to the
latest advice, so that you can give your child the best
support.
I have attached the information with this week’s
newsletter.
Community Engagement
Thursday 13th November
Sub-Committee
(SC)
At our next Community Engagement & Wellbeing SC
meeting we will be working on developing a Draft
BNPS school calendar of fundraising events for 2015.
We have scheduled the meeting in the Aftercare room
at 9.30 am. All welcome.
Regards
Sonia Abdallah
L’angolo italiano
Studenti have been using their listening and speaking
skills while we are learning about Pulcino Pio. We
have also listened to the multi-lingual version of the
popular canzone to see how knowing italiano e
inglese helps us understand other languages too. It is
quite an eye opener for the students. Compito is
concluding with our last piece next week. The start of
each class, since the beginning of the year, has been
checking compito and helping to remind studenti
what they are missing. They are encouraged to collect
spare sheets from our contenitore located outside our
room. Keeping up with compito is a really valuable
skill that they can then bring to secondary school. Our
busta di plastica will be collected next week for final
assessment of our compito portfolio. Signorina Giulia
has had a wonderful time travelling around Australia,
and this long weekend (il ponte,) she has been in
Tasmania. We look forward to seeing her again on
Friday. The Coro dei bambini have had their first
workshop here at BNPS with Kavisha. They had a
lovely time meeting children from other schools
singing along with them. Grazie.

families can benefit from extra support.

simply wish to discuss parenting ideas, Parentline is a
valuable source of counselling and assistance.
The qualified and experienced social workers and
psychologists who staff the service answer

from all backgrounds looking for support and advice.
They will work with you to better understand your
relationships and personal situations to help you to
