GPA of 3.0 or above and completed at least 12 credits at NCC
and are of Italian Descent, involved in community service

• William Strynkowski Scholarship- awarded to outstanding
graduating students continuing their work in the field of
Engineering
• Student Leadership Scholarship- awarded to graduating
students who have made the greatest contribution to the
College
• Student Personnel Services (SPS 093) Scholarshipawarded to a full time student who completed the Basic
Education Program (BEP)
• Tambrands Scholarship- awarded to a Marketing student
• Thomson Learning Business Law Scholarship- awarded
to students who demonstrate an interest in Law, specifically
those who completed either Business Law 103/104
• Sucaina Thyma Scholarship- awarded to a full-time Nursing
student who has evidence of financial need and has selfidentified of being of African American descent in good
academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Doris Trevas Scholarship- awarded to a Chemistry student
who has given service to the Chemistry Department
• Reginald Tuggle Scholarship- awarded to an outstanding
student concentrating in Marketing and Public Relations
• The Spirit of Michelle Vargas- Robin Memorial Scholarshipawarded to a graduating female athlete pursuing to further her
education with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Voices for Veterans Scholarship- awarded to a student who
is a Veteran or Veteran dependent who is not eligible for GI
benefits
• Doris and Gordon Victor Memorial Scholarship- Chemistry
Department scholarship awarded in memory of Doris Victor,
NCC Librarian and her son
• Joshua Weissman-Goodfarb Scholarship- awarded to a
student with a disability who plans to pursue a degree at a
four- year institution
• Hank Wendel Engineering Alumni Scholarship- awarded to
an outstanding Engineering student
• WHPC 90.3 FM Joe Chin Memorial Scholarship- awarded
to a part time or full time student pursuing a career in radio
broadcasting
• Kristen Wiedman Memorial Scholarship- awarded to
a student who demonstrates perseverance in the face of
personal challenges and financial need
• Wild Long Island Scholarship- awarded to students
who demonstrate a high degree of motivation in working to
conserve wildlife
• Donald Witt Astronomy Scholarship- awarded to a student
with a GPA of 3.0 or higher with an emphasis in astronomy
• Professor Sharyne Wolfe Cutting Edge Scholarshipawarded to a student based on originality, construction and
innovative approach to design
• Evelyn Wolkoff Memorial Scholarship- awarded to a
graduating student who is pursuing a degree in social work
• Women’s Faculty Association Scholarship- awarded to
scholastic achievers who can demonstrate involvement in
women’s issues
• Se Hyung Woo Memorial Scholarship- awarded to a
graduating student pursuing business opportunities at a fouryear institution
• Douglas J. & Lillian Worthington Scholarship for Catholic
Studies- awarded to a graduating student who will pursue
Catholic Studies at a four-year institution
• Brooke Zimmerman Memorial Scholarship- awarded to a
student with an interest in photography
• Gerald D. Zuckerman Memorial Legal Research
Scholarship- awarded to paralegal students with extraordinary
skills in legal research
