PIZZA PARTY-YOU’RE INVITED Weds., Nov. 5 to join pizza lovers everywhere who meet at Fidelity House
once a month to munch/discuss the best pizza in town, spend time with old & new friends and have a blast doing the
organized activities. The party is from 11:30 – 2:00 p.m. Registration required- $6 for members and $8 for guests.
***REMINDER TO ALL PARENTS- Fidelity House does not OPEN for OPEN MEMBERSHIP until 2:00 p.m. on half
days. Pizza party participants and Current Volunteer Club only are in the building from 11:30 – 2 p.m. Please plan
according and preplan with your child for that time period.
For those in 6th/7th/8th grade who are not Volunteer Club yet, you may come 11:30 – 2 p.m., pay $3, buy pizza at the
control desk for $1.50 each if you wish and use the 6th- 8th grade game room/ multipurpose room (you will be required to remain
at Fidelity House until 2 p.m.)
NEW 1st - 4TH GRADE SPORTS ACADEMY TO BEGIN TUES, NOV. 4 & FRI., NOV. 7. The
Sports academy will be starting up 2 new clinics for 1st - 4th graders. The sessions are designed to teach game
fundamentals, some fun drills & sportsmanship while giving youth the chance to work on their skills during games
and have fun. Jack Woods and many other adult volunteers will help conduct the clinics. New clinics are offered every 6- 7
weeks. FLOOR HOCKEY--Tuesdays- 6 week session begins Nov. 4- Dec. 16 (no floor hockey on Nov. 11). GRADES 1/2
meet 3 – 3:45 p.m., GRADES 3/4 meet 3:45 – 4:30 p.m. BASKETBALL- Fridays- 6 week session begins Nov. 7 - Dec. 19
(no bball on Nov. 28). GRADES 1/2 meet 3 – 3:45 p.m., GRADES 3/4 meet 3:45 – 4:30 p.m. Programs are coed. Basketball
programs uses 8 foot hoops.
REPUBLICAN & DEMOCRAT DAY- Tuesday, Nov. 4, FiHo will be overrun by the next generation of voters! WHAT IS
IT? When you check in, you will be declared a Republican or a Democrat (by the luck of the coin toss). Play the game of your
choice against anyone on the "other" team & if you win, let Independents at the control desk know! The staff will keep track of
the winning matches & at the end of the day - only 1 of those teams will be victorious but BOTH teams will have tons of fun!
AMERICAN DREAMCATCHERS-
In celebration of the Native Americans, Fidelity House will be making dreamcatchers in
arts & crafts on Friday in the 2nd- 5th grade room!
Full Day and Early Release Day Program – Fidelity House’s School Age Child Care Program
offers full day programs on all days that school is not in session including Tuesday, November 4, no public
school and Tuesday, November 11, Veteran’s Day (all schools). Nov. 4 kids will be Bowling while Chuck- E
Cheese is on the menu for Nov. 11. Program is open to children in Kindergarten and up.

6th grade GIRLS to play on our FiHo 6th grade travel basketball team.
For those
who “don’t play basketball”- no experience is necessary first, just a willingness to LEARN!

BASKETBALL (Travel teams)- PRACTICE SCHEDULE- Did you know?
We post the
weekly practices on the doors at Fidelity House & ON THE WEBSITE. Just pull up www.fidelityhouse.org and
click on the picture of the basketball on the lower page of the home page – it has the practices listed for the week.
NBL (Neighborhood Basketball League) Play hoop with your friends in friendly neighborhood
rivalry games! Saturday morning basketball league for 12 weeks. The coed program emphasizes instruction on
basketball fundamentals including dribbling, passing, shooting and defense while having kids use those skills in
games. Saturdays, 9—10: 15a.m. for 8-10 year olds and 10:15—11:30 a.m. for ages 11 – 13. Begins Saturday
Dec. 6 – February 28, 12 weeks, $95 (fee includes reversible jersey). Current membership is required.
NANCY DREW MYSTERY BOOK CLUB- Who:

GIRLS 2 – 6 grade
What: **Reading/ discussing Nancy Drew Books, solving mystery activities and training to be
sleuths…. Girls in the Fidelity House Volunteer Club will be assisting in the club activities!
Where: Fidelity House When: Saturdays, 2 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. . Free for members (or pay a
daily guest fee). The building is open before & after for open recreation fun too! Why: The
Nancy Drew Book Series is AWESOME, mysteries are FUN and reading/being part of a group is always an
ADVENTURE!
This week- we have a special secret compartment project planned!!
LEGO CLUB- Design, build & finish your own/group lego creations working off a different theme each
week. Grades 2nd – 6th grade on Sats., 1:30 – 3 p.m. Drop in fee for the day.
HALLOWEEN COLORING CONTEST- GREAT COSTUMES- this year’s first BATch of winner are: Matthew Ala, Jordan
Lally, Delia Terry, Sean Boyle, Ryan Hourican & Katherine Westberg (and Lauren Ramdin- JK she’s staff!)!. Stop by on or after Friday to
pick up your prizes!!
TURKEY TOURNAMENT-
WEDNESDAY is Tournament Day for 2nd - 5th graders & THURSDAY is Tournament Day for
6th graders & up at Fidelity House through THANKSGIVING! The winners of any of the tournaments will go on to take part in the
TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS scheduled to take place in December (and a chance to win a memorable prize)!! This week's
scheduled match-ups include: knock hockey for the 6th grade & up AND air hockey TOURNAMENT for the 2nd - 5th graders!!! The
action begins at 2:30 p.m. See you there! Congrats to the this week’s winners Chris Olsen for bumper pool & Evan Sparks &
Donny MacMillan for bumper pool & pick up sticks!
