A global leader in mobile telecommunications, Israel at
AfricaCom 2014, is presenting a spectrum of advanced
solutions tailored for carriers, content providers,
enterprises and users.
The Israel Pavilion at AfricaCom 2014 will provide a
high profile venue for Israel’s leading high technology
companies, presenting the latest solutions for mobile
communications. The pavilion is organized by The
Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute in
cooperation with the Foreign Trade Administration of
the Israel Ministry of Economy.
The Israel Pavilion highlights infrastructure and
support hardware & software that enable efficient
conversion to the latest LTE networks, while optimizing
the performance of current systems, thus maximizing
operator revenue.

Israeli companies will also demonstrate advanced
OTT, security, m-health and mobile marketing
solutions enabling operators to best adapt to
changing market conditions. Israeli exhibitors
focus on handsets, with advanced microchips and
software products enhancing the functionality and
usability of smartphones. The Israel pavilion will also
feature content, roaming, cloud and music sharing
applications.
The Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute,
a nonprofit organization supported by the government
of Israel and the private sector, facilitates business
ties, joint ventures and strategic alliances between
international and Israeli companies. The Institute
is committed to bringing together mobile-centric
corporations around the world with Israeli companies
whose mobile applications, services and platforms
provide a business advantage in the highly competitive
mobile market.

Israel’s Trade Mission to South Africa is a unit of the
Foreign Trade Administration of the Israeli Ministry
of Economy, established to promote, enhance and
facilitate economic and trade cooperation between
Israel and Southern Africa. Our office in Johannesburg,
part of Israel’s Embassy to South Africa, drives
cooperation by
• Bringing business delegations from Israel to the
region.
• Sending business people and delegations to Israel.
• Promoting meetings between local businesses and
Israeli businesses at international trade shows.
• Setting up Israeli national pavilions in leading trade
