Essential

Current registration with AHPRA

Post graduate qualifications in management or working towards same

Minimum of 4 years post graduate experience in acute medical nursing

Proven experience in management.

Previous experience in rostering or staff allocation

Proven clinical Team Leader experience in medical ward

Effective communication skills

Adaptable to change

Evidence of current Blood Safe competency
Desirable

Previous experience as NUM/acting NUM

Tertiary educational qualifications in Management

The Sydney Adventist Hospital is seeking registered /enrolled nurses with experience in Medical/Surgical nursing who hold a
valid AHPRA registration. Enrolled nurses must have medication endorsement. Applicants must address the following criteria in



Location: Sydney Adventist Hospital
The Sydney Adventist Hospital, located on Sydney’s North Shore, is the largest single campus private hospital in New South
Wales. A not for profit organisation, the San has an outstanding reputation in the community for superior facilities and service.
Situated in the Human Resources Department, the Occupational, Health & Safety department are requiring a training facilitator
to join their team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting manual handling training for clinical staff orientation prior to their
commencing employment in our clinical areas. The primary focus of this role will be to ensure and promote safe work practices
and work methods in the working environment in accordance with the hospital’s strategic goals.
Essential Criteria:

Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment & Training

Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated experience in developing and mentoring others

Computer literacy

Ability to work in a team environment and independently

Previous Health Care experience
Desirable Criteria:

Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or similar

Previous experience in developing and facilitating workshops and learning programs

Experience or knowledge of O’Shea No Lift Program
