RON GRIFFITH AWARDED DOW GOLD COIN AT
CH2M HILL LUNCHEON

At a Safety Luncheon at CH2M Hill’s South Lecroy Capping Project, USA Site
Superintendent Ron Griffith was awarded the DOW Gold Coin Award by CH2M Hill
and UMETCO Minerals Corporation. Ron was awarded for his actions on a project
being handled by other stakeholders on site where a gas leak had occurred during
fence installation. Ron’s actions prevented the possible loss of life and/or injury to
the stakeholder’s crew. Ron was rewarded for his actions in being a team builder
and looking out for actions of other stakeholders on site.
Ron has been a valued USA team member for the past five years. Congratulations to
Ron and his site staff , including Pedro Ramos, Jose Umanzor and Glenn McWilliams!
