PARISH MASS BOOKS – YEAR B
Each set costs £6 and can be dedicated for a particular
prayer intention – one intention per set. If you sponsored a
set for Year A, you will find your details on the printed form
at the back of church – please note on it whether you want
to sponsor a set of Year B books. If you have not sponsored
previously, there is a blank sheet to complete. There is still
opportunity to sponsor a full set for all three years for £18.
We still need a lot more sponsors if we are to have sufficient
books in our churches for Year B. Please see Craig or Nicki
Aburn for more information or to sign up.
FOODBANK ADVENT APPEAL
During November we are appealing to you to donate
something seasonal for the Foodbank Christmas Hampers
that are delivered to families in crisis. There is a list at the
back of church with some ideas. For more information
please speak to Nicki or Barbara Aburn after Mass.

NATIONAL YOUTH SUNDAY – 23rd NOVEMBER 2014
On National Youth Sunday we are asked to make a point of
welcoming, encouraging and celebrating the young people
around us. The theme for this year poses the question,
‘How happy are you?’ It is intended to enable a reflection
on how we can find true and lasting happiness. The
postcards to be given to young people respond to this
question with ‘Be Attitudes’, inspired by the Beatitudes in
Matthew’s gospel.
