MESSAGE FROM FATHER MICHAEL
Thank you to all those who attended the Mass for the bereaved last Thursday and let us continue to remember and
pray for all who have died and those who mourn them during this month of November. Let us be thankful for the gift
of faith in Jesus Christ our Risen Lord who is the ultimate source of our consolation in the face of the sad reality of
death. As I announced last weekend the work for the construction of the new Christopher Centre has now gone out to
tender and the closing date for completed tenders is 8 December. The carpeting of the presbytery has begun and
should be finished by the middle of the week. May God bless us all in the week ahead.

VOLUNTEERING

We are at present trying to tidy up the grounds around the
Church. The border underneath the front hedge badly
needs weeding/clearing. If you are able and can spare an
hour to help it would be greatly appreciated.
Just clearing a foot or a yard would help. You would need
your own tools.

Are you looking for some rewarding voluntary work?
Stockport Marriage care is looking for volunteers –
particularly for the roles of counseling receptionist (two
evening a month) and secretary (three meetings a year).
Marriage Care is a national charitable organization which
