The School: The King's Academy, a private Christian school with a strong college preparatory program, educates students from
Pre-School through 12th grade. Current enrollment is approximately 1200. The King's Academy, situated on a 60 acre campus,
is located in the heart of Palm Beach County within suburban West Palm Beach, Florida. The graduates of the past forty-four
years reflect The King’s Academy’s reputation for producing quality students who are successful in colleges, universities, and in
the community at large. The King’s Academy’s high academic and spiritual standards aid in the growth of a student’s spiritual,
intellectual, social, and physical development.
The Accreditation: The King’s Academy is fully accredited by three accrediting bodies: Southern Association of Colleges and
Schools, the Association of Christian Schools International, and the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.
Mission Statement: The King’s Academy exists to assist the home and church in their endeavor to “train up a child in the way
he should go” (Proverbs 22:6). Its mission is to graduate Christian leaders who seek to impact their world for the King of kings
through academic excellence and spiritual vitality.
The King’s Academy Academic Program: Classes meet five times a week for a total of 37 weeks per school year. The school day
consists of a seven period rotation with 244 minutes of class time per class per week. Students are required to take a minimum
of 6 classes per day.

College Attendance: Ninety-nine percent of the class of 2014 will be entering college. Ninety-six percent of the class of 2014
will be entering four-year institutions. The 112 graduates of the Class of 2014 received acceptances from 110 different
colleges and universities in 17 states and two countries and are matriculating into 48 different colleges in 17 states.
College Scholarship: Sixty-seven members of the Class of 2014 were collectively offered 195 academic, athletic, and special
achievement scholarships valued at over 5 million dollars.

Quality Points: Students enrolled in rigorous courses are awarded additional quality points. These additional points are called “weighted” points. One
full quality point is added to the Grade Point Average (GPA) of students who take AP classes. Honors courses receive an additional .5 to the GPA.
Advanced Placement Program: The King’s Academy adopts the “open door” policy for all AP courses as suggested by College Board.
In 2014, 227 students took 432 AP Examinations administered in 20 different subjects. In
2014, 56% received a score of 3 or higher and 32% received a score of 4 or 5. Since 2009 The King’s Academy has produced 178
AP Scholars, 41 AP Scholars with Honor, 45 AP Scholars with Distinction, and 4 National AP Scholars.

Student Leadership: In accordance with our mission statement to graduate Christian leaders who seek to impact their world,
The King’s Academy offers many leadership opportunities for students. Some leadership activities are designed to help
identify/teach/build leadership skills in all students, while others seek to sharpen leadership skills within our student

Business Program: Students interested in pursuing business are provided with solid business fundamentals prior to
entering a university program. A certificate of completion will be awarded to students who complete the following courses (in
addition to courses required for graduation): Business and Entrepreneurial Principles, Economics, Ethical Business
Practices, Introduction to Business (DE), Marketing Essentials, Statistics, and two years of foreign language. Membership
with the Future Business Leaders of America, FBLA is encouraged. Prefect Council: The Prefect Council is a council of student leaders who lead the entire student body. The Prefect Council is
an umbrella of student leadership that coordinates student life in the areas of athletics, fine arts, guidance, spiritual life,
service and student life itself. The Prefects are selected by a panel of administrators and faculty through a stringent
interview process. They are senior leaders who possess a high degree of commitment to the school’s values and ideals.
Their emphasis is on service, not privilege.
Community Service: The King’s Academy does not have a minimum number of community service hours for graduation.
However, community service is strongly encouraged and is integrated into the secondary program. The112 seniors of the
Class of 2014 logged 26,050 community service hours during their four years of high school.
Ambassadors: The King’s Academy Ambassadors conduct school tours, welcome prospective and new students, and assist
at events both on and off campus throughout the year. Student Ambassadors are selected by the Administration, Faculty
and Staff to represent The King’s Academy. Students who are selected have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ,
maintain good grades, are willing to meet and greet the public, and have a friendly personality.
