Sabbath School meets in Sierra Vista Chapel
featuring “Dr. Zacchaeus Mathema (Professor of
Leadership, Adventist University of Africa in Kenya),”
coordinated by Luckson Dube; Darrin Wright,
teacher. This week in Journey, Lorelei Cress will bring
a message of hope from Zechariah as we continue
our look at the Flyover Scriptures.
This Sabbath’s offering is for the ConferenceWide Church & School Building Fund.
Fellowship Luncheon. Visitors are invited to
potluck across the street in Sierra Vista Chapel
after church@study and church@noon. All are
welcome. Members are invited to bring a dish.
Community Services (CS). Thanksgiving Food
Drive. Community Services will be collecting
non-perishable items including: beans, canned
corn, canned vegetables, canned yams, green beans,
mashed potatoes, and stuffing. Bring items to the
church and place them in the boxes near the exits.
Sabbath Rest is until 4:42pm on November 22. Next
Sabbath’s welcome is on November 28 at 4:40pm.
Dinner with the Classics. If you are a “Better
Than Fifty” Senior, you are invited to the annual
Christmas Dinner, Tuesday, December 9, at 6:00
pm in Sierra Vista Chapel, which is a gift for our
seniors from the Pastoral Team. Reservations only.

Christmas Connection. Sponsor a box for a
family for just $30. Mark your tithe envelope
Christmas Connection or use Pushpay. Help make
the holidays bright for someone in need.
La Sierra University.
Some students aren’t able to go home for the
holidays and have nowhere to go. Help the deans at
La Sierra make this a wonderful Thanksgiving for all
of our students staying on campus for the holidays
by making food for a feast. Helpers and home
cooked dishes (preferably in disposable containers)
are needed . Call (951)217-3698 to let us know what
you are bringing.
Tickets are on sale now in the church office for
reserved seating at the Candlelight Concert On
December 5 at 7:30pm. Hurry, tickets are selling fast.
Sounds of the Season, a one-night event
celebrating the music of Christmas. You will enjoy
hearing holiday classics by the finest musicians from
La Sierra University! This is a Christmas spectacular
you won’t want to miss at the Fox Performing Arts
Center in Riverside on December 6 at 7:30pm. Get

La Sierra Academy. Junior/Senior students took
the top four places in the prestigious local Veterans
of Foreign Wars essay contest! We’re delighted with
their accomplishments, thanks to teacher and family
