Mobility objectives:
Consolidating the links with partners involved in the project
Establishing clear tasks and deadlines of subsequent activities of the project
Comparing cultural and social elements that are specific to each participating country
Visiting institutions that are specific to the project theme
Realising an international cookbook- presenting recipes that are specific to each country and are based on
organic products
Discussions about updating the site with specific products according to the project theme

Project meeting in Romania with all the teams from participating countries
Distributing the activities programe for each day
Discussions about different problems that appeared while doing the project activities at the previous
mobility in Portugal
Discussions on updating the project website with project-specific products
-each country shall send to Romanian team some other products that have allready been done
(videos, flyers, …);
- each country shall select the 5 to 10 most significant photos for mobilities
- it was agreed that each country appoint a contact person to provide information of specific
activities for updating the project's website.
Meeting with local officials – representatives of Cluj County Council
Visiting Special Technological High School SAMUS- the host of the mobility Groups of teachers
visited the multimedia classroom, the extrasensory room, the school’s chapel, the school’s workshops:
hairdressing, horticulture, carpentry, dress making, cookery
Working meeting with partners at school in which each country presented 15 recipes to be
included in the cookbook
During the Romanian Meeting, the following deliberations have been taken in the working
meetings: organic product (evolution in pursuit of the raw material stage (seed) to a finished product):
each country have agreed to choose an organic and healthy product whitch evolution (from raw material stage to
finished product ) will be described. Portugal chose sea salt; Italy chose olive oil; Turkey chose chestnuts;
Bulgaria chose the rose; Romania chose milk.
Products will be presented and discussed at a conference between students, in Italy, in the
framework of PPT presentations; (small presentation approximately 5 minutes)
Symbol of the meeting in Italy will be apple
It will present three types of apples in each country with a picture and description of each variety; visit to a farm
and another activities in Italy
It has been established a visit to a farm of organic food in Italy – Florence
There will be a sports activity in the city and the children will combine traditional music and
dance flashmob.
When everything had been covered, the delegations were in for quite a show in which the students
of Special Technological High School “SAMUS”, coordinated by teacher Gorcea Vasile, demonstrated
their artisic talent. The programme began with an impressive performance of the students with hearing
impairment who presented the prayer „Our Father in Heaven” using sign language with background
music composed by Ghica Comănici. Another emotional moment was when the same students interpreted
the well known song “You raise me up”, and in the end, there was an outstanding moment when flags of
all the delegations as well as the European Union flag were flown signifying the integration of all nations
in the big European family, a symbol of both unity and preservation of the identity of each nation. On this
note, the students of “Solomon Haliţa” High School in Sângeorz- Băi performed folk songs and
traditional folk dances.

Departure from the Hotel to the Salt mine in Turda which is regarded as an authentic museum of
salt mining in Transylvania because mining sites and devices used to extract and transport salt are
extremely well preserved.
Visitors can admire the old mines: Iosif, Maria Tereza, Rudolf and the medieval devices in the mine
such as the ironware, the rudimentary mining trolley and the salt mill. Also, tourists take their time to
admire the Altar Hall, carved in salt walls as well as the Rich People’s Staircase which is made of fir-tree
wood known for its resistance to salty air.
Lunch at a restaurant in Turda numit Sarea in bucate unde s-au servit produse traditionale romanesti
realizate din produse organice provenite de la ferma proprie.
Visit La Salina vineyard and discussions about the importance of wine products. La Salina vineyard
is located in the vicinity of Turda Salt Mine, just 100 de metres away, on Durgău Hills. It is an area with
a rich tradition in vine culture that goes back hundreds of years. In Roman times, the town now called
Turda was known as Potaissa and even back then traditional wines were served and appreciated.
Dinner at Casa De Luxe restaurant which included folk music and folk dance programmes
Visit to USAMV (University of Agricultural Science and Veterinary Medicine) in Cluj-Napoca Faculty of Food Science and Technology. Courses provided are:technology of agricultural products
processing;food quality checking;food products engineering and master’s degree in: food quality
management (English language course); systems of food processing and food quality checking; food
consumption security and consumer’s protection; gastronomy , nutrition and dietetics; astronomy ,
nutrition and dietetics (English language course)
Students do practical activities in pilot stations within the faculty premises: eer pilot station; bead
manufacturing pilot station ; iry products pilot station; meat pilot station
There were presented micro laboratories in which the students are practicing with organic and bio
materials

Visit to Fortress Hill Alba Iulia which, after 1641 became the capital of autonomous Principality
Transylvania, where in 1918 was signed the document attesting to the Union of Romanian Principalities.
Its Latin name is Apulum, in Hungarian is Gyulafehérvár and in German Weißenburg/Karlsburg. Fortress
Hill Alba Iulia is the most representative bastion-like fortification of Vauban type in Ardeal. Its walls are
12 kilometres long and its area is almost 100 hectars.






We decided that Turkey would send the activities assessment sheet for the first year of the project.
The final activity was handing out certificates.

– 28th February (departure day)
Turkey – final dates - 24- 27 May 2016
