Central City, Nebraska are pleased to announce the engagement and
upcoming wedding of their children, Katie Neufeld of Central City
and Tyson Benner of Central City. They will be united in marriage on
Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at the Central City United Methodist Church
in Central City, Nebraska. Katie is a 2005 graduate of Didsbury High
School and a 2010 graduate of Colorado State University in Fort
Collins, CO, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Animal
Science. She is currently employed by Merrick County Farm Bureau.
Tyson is a 2003 graduate of Central City High School and a 2007
graduate of Hastings College in Hastings, NE, where he received
a double degree with a Bachelor of Science in Ag-Business as well
as a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He is currently employed by
Archer Credit Union as Branch Manager and Senior Ag Loan Officer.

Annual General Meeting
HOWDEN
Molly Catherine Howden of
Didsbury passed away on
November 7, 2014 at the
age of 86 years. Molly
was born in Shamrock,
SK on November 25,
1927. It was there that
she met and married
her lifelong partner Roy
Howden. In her lifetime,
Molly did a lot of traveling due to Roy’s line
of work. In 1953, they moved to Cremona
where she became a farmer’s wife. They next
moved to Carstairs where they resided for a
few years. Next they moved to Didsbury;
that becoming where they would make their
home. In Didsbury, Molly worked at Slipp’s
Drug Store until her retirement twentyfive years later. Over those years she would
make many dear friends. Molly’s favorite
pastimes included camping, playing softball,
ice curling, floor curling, carpet bowling,
and spending time with family. Molly was
predeceased by Roy in 2005. She will be sadly
missed and always loved and remembered by
her children Wayne (Mary), Vivian (Marc),
and Darrel (Sherry); her seven grandchildren;
eight great grandchildren, five sisters, two
brothers and numerous nieces, nephews and
many close, dear friends. A Memorial Service
was held on November 15, 2014 at the Zion
Evangelical Missionary Church in Didsbury,
AB. Memorial tributes may be made to the
Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of
choice.
