SMB - Selectable Mode Pilot Plant
is our most flexible pilot plant system. The pilot plant
control system is designed to allow the user to
choose one of three modes of operation for simulated
moving bed chromatography:
• Traditional SMB
• Sequential SMB
• Intermittent SMB
All three modes of SMB are operational with the
same size columns, providing an ideal method of
comparing a separation using different modes of
SMB chromatography
Choice of column size for the Selectable Mode Pilot
Plant is 1” to 4” diameter X 40” lengths; when
purchasing the pilot plant materials of construction
can also be selected
