Construction Update
- Just a reminder that on Wednesday, November 19, starting at 2 a.m., the
Emergency Department begins the move into the modular buildings just outside the
current ED. The transition is expected to take about 36 hours to complete.
- After the move, patients will access the Emergency Department through the modular
entrance located in the parking lot adjacent to the current ED revolving door entrance.
- Ambulance traffic will continue through the circle by the Ambulance Bay.

- Helps service members and their Families travel from bases to homes across the
U.S. during the holiday season
- Operation Hero
- A mentoring program offered at all elementary schools located on the installation,
that not only improves self-esteem and grades, but also allows children to find the
hero inside each of them
- Operation Kid Comfort
- Provides children of deployed active duty Soldiers a quilt or pillow bearing photos
of the Soldier and Family

provides support for unit events

- Offer car seats, strollers, playards, diapers and more to E4 and below that are experiencing financial
difficulties

Holiday Hearts
- Partnership with Army Community Service providing gifts for children of Soldiers E-4 and below experiencing
a financial hardship during the holiday season.

- Eligibility based on Soldiers/Families E4 and below with Command
approval; E5 and above reviewed on case by case basis after AER referral
- Soldier/Family must have verified financial hardship
- Gifts provided for children who reside in the home

Deadline for application submission is Nov 21
