Charity Tax Refund Scheme: A benefit to the parish at no cost to you.
The Church as a designated eligible charity under section 45 of the Finance Act 2001 can
claim a percentage of your donation at no extra cost to you. If you (or a household member)
pay all of your tax through PAYE and if you contribute more than €250 in a calendar year,
Aughavas Pastoral Council: All members are asked to come to Aughavas Parish House on
this Tuesday night 25th November at 8 pm for sorting of 2015 collection boxes.
Cloone GAA: Please note that the date for the Clubs Annual fundraiser ‘Come Dine With
Me’ is changed to Saturday November 29th. If you would like to be a host contact any of the
club officers. The club are also showcasing local talent on the night so if any artists would
like to perform on the night please contact any club officers.

‘ Sleigh Bells Ring’: Keep Sunday evening 7th December 2014 free for
The Mohill based ‘Sweet Spirit Gospel Choir’s Christmas Show ‘Sleigh
Bells in the Hunt Hall, Castle Street, Mohill! Santa will also make an
appearance so come along to the Hunt Hall and see it transformed into a
Christmas Wonderland. The beneficiaries will be St Marys Parish &
‘Mohill Family Support Centre’ so come along and support these worthy organisations.
Aughavas/Cloone Active Age: The date for our Xmas outing for 17th December in Cox’s of
Dromod. A meeting to accept payment and make arrangements will take place in Cloone
Community Centre on Tuesday 2nd December at 8 pm.
Charity run/walk/cycle: Please join Brendan Kiernan on annual 10k or 20k on Sunday 30th
of November in aid of Movember. Registration 11.30 am, Mitchell's Main Street Carrigallen.
Race starts at 1pm sharp. Refreshments afterwards and free raffle for all competitors. Your
support would be appreciated.
Bingo continues every Wednesday night in Cloone Community Centre. Christmas spot prizes
start this Wednesday 26th November and every Wednesday night until St. Stephen’s Day
bingo at 4 pm.
‘Little Rascals’- Cloone/Aughavas Community Childcare are holding their Annual Church
Gate collection on next weekend November 29th / 30th in Cloone & Aughavas. Your support
would be greatly appreciated in order to maintain their facilities within the playschool which
will benefit both children and staff.
