Sports/Activities:
9-12 grade softball players - A great one day camp is available for all positions at the College of St. Benedict
during January! See Mr. Nelson for more details.
Choir News:
Choir Concert grades 5-12 – Monday, December 15 at 7:00 p.m.
Full rehearsal for all singers in grades 5-12 will be Thursday, Dec 11 at 12:30.
Fine Arts:
Dec 3 - 3:30-5:45, Thursday, Dec 4 - 3:30-7, Dec 5, 6 -Performance @ 7, Dec 7 - Performance @ 2
Auditions for the One-Act Play Contest! Monday & Tuesday, Dec. 8th & 9th at 4:00 PM. Auditions will be held
in Mrs. Straumann’s room. There are parts for 4 males and 4 females in the play, Oh, What a Tangled
Web, by John R. Carroll. You can check the play out overnight to read it (see Marj Maurer). This is a
varsity activity opened to grades 9-12. Sub-sections are January 31st. Questions? Liz Wheeler

Students:
There are snowmobile safety registration flyers in the office. Training is Saturday, December 6
Juniors / Seniors:
There will be an admissions rep here from South Dakota State University to visit with interested students
on Thursday, December 4th at 1:00. Please get a pass from the office to visit with her.
If you recently took the ASVAB, there will be a career seminar for you in the computer lab on Tuesday,
December 9th. The list of session times and names is posted in the office window and on the computer lab
door.
Seniors:
Yearbook needs your baby pictures by Christmas break (turn in to the nurse’s office). We will scan those and
return the original. Email your Senior pictures to [email protected].
FFA Members:
FFA Concessions: Tuesday, December 9, 2014 Please sign up we need at least 5 workers.
