TEAM OF
PIANISTS
On Sunday February 1, the Team of Pianists is arranging a Piano
Marathon in the lovely surroundings of Rippon Lea House and
Gardens, in Elsternwick. We are inviting up to 100 pianists to
perform a three or five minute segment each, depending on piano
grade standard. The event will commence at 10.00am and conclude
at 5.00pm and will be a fund-raising event for the National Trust.
Visitors may take a picnic in the delightful grounds of Rippon Lea
while the music will be performed in the Ballroom. Audience
members will be welcome to sit or wander in the gardens at Rippon
Lea or take a tour of the house. The piano will be able to be heard
outside the house, on the pool terrace and the nearby lawns,
enabling families to relax in an outdoor atmosphere.
