Board of Directors Approves Revisions
DRCC’s Board of Directors Approves Revised Mission Statement
and Guiding Values
At their December 4th meeting, the Board of Directors approved
revisions to DRCC’s Mission Statement and Guiding Values. These
changes were initiated at the Board Retreat in October when the Board
established goals and priorities for DRCC in the upcoming years.
DRCC’s Mission: To support individuals with disabilities by creating
opportunities to live rich and meaningful lives with family, friends, work
and community.

DRCC-Tamarack (a waivered services program serving four men in Esko) is seeking a FULL-TIME PROGRAM ASSISTANT (starting salary $11.40/hr + benefits).

DRCC- Juniper (serving three men in Proctor) is seeking a PART-TIME INSURANCE ELIGIBLE PROGRAM ASSISTANT. Hours are Week #1: Wednesday
2:30p-11p, overnight, Thursday 6a-8a; Friday 3p-7p, Saturday 10a-4p. Week #2:
Wednesday 2:30p-11p, overnight, Thursday 6a-8a, 2:30p-11p, overnight, Friday

DRCC-Galere (serving 4 women on Martin Road) is seeking someone to work a
variety of fill-in hours as needed. The person must have availability to pick up shifts
in advance and on a last-minute basis. Please call Cassie or Corey at 726-0233.
DRCC-Riverside (serving two men and two women in Morgan Park) is seeking
someone to work fill-in shifts as needed. The person must have availability to pick
up shifts in advance as well as on short notice. Contact Vanessa at 626-1784.
DRCC-Soft Hands (serving a wide variety of individuals living on their own in Duluth) is seeking someone for fill-in and some regular hours with a varied schedule
full of fun and rewarding challenges. Please contact Doug or Rex at 728-4621.
DRCC-Thalassic (serving 4 gentlemen and one woman in Two Harbors) is seeking
someone to work every Monday 3p-9p and every other weekend, Saturday and
Sunday 10a-8p. Many hours also available for fill-in to cover for vacation and sick

DRCC-Triplex (serving 9 individuals in Gary-New Duluth) has the following permanent shifts available: Week 1: Sunday 3pm-9pm; Sunday 2p-11p. Week 2: Sunday
11p-9a; Sunday 3p-9p; Saturday 8a-2p; Saturday 12p-5p; Wednesday 3p-9p.

DRCC-Northside (serving 2 men and 2 women in the Virginia area) is seeking
someone to work every other weekend. Hours could be a 24 hour sleep shift and
do fill-in as needed. Please call Connie at 218-749-1296 if interested.
REFERRAL INCENTIVE: DRCC offers a $100 referral incentive to any employee who refers a Program Assistant,
Coordinator or Director and a $250 referral incentive to employees who refer an LPN or RN for employment to
DRCC. The incentive payment will be received after their referral is hired and successfully completes six months
of employment.
Donation of Hours
Deb Mainella, Program Coordinator at Spruce, is requesting donations of vacation
time as she has been unable to work due to medical reasons. She is now
scheduled for and will need to recover from back surgery.
Kevin Perkins, from Midway, is requesting donations of vacation time due to an
extended medical leave.
Tami Granmo, from Thalassic, is requesting donations of vacation time. She will
be recuperating from knee surgery.
Tim Ohman, Maintenance, is requesting donations of vacation time. Tim is still
recovery from his illness and may be out another month.
*If you are able to donate hours, please call Sherry Olson, Payroll Coordinator,
at 722-8180, ext. 113. All staff can donate up to 24 hours of vacation per
employee per year.

since 2010.
