CERTs 2015 Conference: Community-Driven Clean Energy
The sixth statewide CERTs Conference will be held at the St. Cloud River’s Edge Convention
Center on March 10–11, 2015. CERTs 2015 will be an exploration and celebration of successful
energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, and a coming together of hundreds of amazing people who are working to create a clean energy future in their communities and beyond.
With your help, attendees will return home with the connections they need to move forward.
At the conference we will:
• Cross-pollinate: Connect people and projects across regions and sectors
• Percolate: Help surface new ideas to build Minnesota’s clean energy
future
• Engage networks: Governments, schools, organizations, utilities & more
• Tip the scale: Attract new people and drive attendees to take action
We expect 500-600 people to attend the conference, and are providing
space for up to 60 exhibitors. We are excited to invite your business or
organization to be part of the event and connect with our attendees!
See the following pages for details.

Exhibitor Opportunities
The 2015 CERTs Conference will attract 500–600 Minnesotans interested in communitydriven clean energy. The first five CERTs Conferences were great successes with a wide array of
exhibitors and attendees. As an exhibitor, your information, services, and products will be seen on
March 10-11, 2015 by representatives from schools, colleges and universities, local and state
government, as well as farmers, business owners, energy experts, and other engaged community
members. At the conference there will be many opportunities to connect with attendees: before
the conference and at lunches and breaks each day. The exhibit space is located between
registration and meal/plenary areas (see next page), providing maximum traffic and visibility.

Sponsor & Exhibitor FAQ and 2013 Attendees
This sheet gives you a behind-the-scenes glance at the CERTs 2015 Conference so you can understand who will be
at the event, as well as a few of the most common questions that we get asked by potential sponsors & exhibitors.
AT T E N D E E S
F R E Q U E N T LY A S K E D Q U E S T I O N S
How many attendees are you
expecting at the conference?
Do exhibition booths come with all sponsor packages?
The 2009, 2011 & 2013 CERTs
conferences attracted between
500 and 600 attendees; we expect
the same for CERTs 2015.
As you'll see in the Sponsor & Exhibitor Opportunities Packet,
each sponsorship level comes with a booth and a certain
number of complimentary registrations for the two-day event.
The exhibition hall will be open on both March 10th and 11th
for the 2015 event.
Who attends the conference?
What size exhibition booth will we get?
Based on past conferences, we
expect the following attendance
for the CERTs 2015 Conference.
We will provide an 8-foot table by default. This being said, we
also welcome your custom displays and are very accomodating.
We have had electric cars, solar collectors, battery systems, small
wind turbines, and more, so we can get larger, more interesting
pieces. Just talk to us about any ideas or requests you have.
Demographics: Age 25-65, equal
mix of men and women, mostly
homeowners.
Geography: About half of our
attendees are from the Twin
Cities metro area, and half are
from all over Greater Minnesota.

residents and/or farmers
Are there key messages CERTs wants our organization to
address in our booth?
If you’re planning on sponsoring or exhibiting, we likely have
the same priorities—telling people about programs and
products that can help them save energy and money, and
produce clean, renewable energy, while also letting them know
what they can do to make a difference.
Do you have other questions?
Contact Dan Thiede, CERTs Communications Manager, with any
other questions you have: [email protected] or 612-626-0556.
Attendee List: See the next several pages for an actual list of
CERTs 2013 Conference attendees for an idea of who you might
meet at the 2015 event.
