Welcome to Our Christmas Cantata
Today, Chancel Choir along with
our dedicated singers from Booneville UMC present the annual
Christmas Cantata in memory of
Margaret Jordan, our longtime
Music Coordinator, Choir Director,
Organist, and Pianist at Van Meter UMC.
The story of the Incarnation tells us that God so
loved the world that He came to earth as a baby,
bringing us Hope, Peace, and Joy.
Once again, our combined choir has been invited
to share the Cantata at the Edgewater Retirement
Center in West Des Moines at 2:30 PM this afternoon. You are invited to come along as we spread
the message of the Season with others.
Christmas Eve Services (VM/BV)
Christ is born in our hearts
again and we are called to reach
beyond ourselves to bring life
and light to all the world.
Come together in this holiest of
seasons. Light a candle, bring a
neighbor, tell a friend, or a
stranger, shine a light in the
darkness. We will have three candlelight services
Christmas Eve; the schedule is at the top right.

Parking Overflow (VM)
When the main lot is crowded, you may drop your
loved ones off at the back door and park at our
satellite lot on 4th Avenue. This gravel lot has room
for 6-8 vehicles. We also have permission to use the
lot at the Country Kids Club, across the street to the
west.
