entries and closes at 10 PM Wednesday January 7th, 2015. You will receive email

6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U
Based on age as of 12/31/2014
RATING:
1. Finish 1, 2, or 3 in AAU/USA State Tourney.
2. Finish 4, 5, or 6 in AAU/USA State Tourney.
3. Experienced wrestlers.
4. First year wrestlers only.
BRACKETING: This will be a bracketed tournament by weight classes listed below with wrestle-backs to
third place. Five person and less brackets will be wrestled as round robin.
AWARDS:
Custom medal for 1st – 3rd place
Commemorative tomahawk for one Outstanding Wrestler in each age group.
ENTRY FEE:
$18.00 per wrestler. Club check preferred. Payable to Jackson USA Wrestling.
ADMISSION:
General admission $3.00. Children 5 and under free. Coaches must show USA card.
CONCESSIONS: Concessions available all day.
FORMAT:
MSHAA match rules with these exceptions:
1. Length – 1-1-1 for 6U and 8U / 1:30-1:30-1:30 for 10U, 12U, 14U
2. Overtime – 1:00 SD 0:30 TB

All participants will compete at the age they were on December 31st, 2014.
Wrestlers will be allowed to weigh-in one time only on Saturday night. If a wrestler is over-weight on
Saturday, than they will be allowed to weigh-in one time only on Sunday morning. Scales will be opened
one-half (1/2) hour prior to the weigh-in times on Saturday and Sunday to allow wrestlers to check their
weight; after the weigh-ins begin, there will be no checking of weight. Wrestlers must be allowed to use
any of the certified scales being used for the competition weigh-ins. There will be no running, or other
weight loss measures, allowed inside the wrestling facility.
All wrestlers will be required to weigh-in wearing only a singlet with the straps pulled down; females will
be required to wear their singlet with a sports bra, or other suitable undergarment. Each wrestler will
be visually checked and if a participant is suspected of having a communicable skin disease, or any other
condition that may make participation inadvisable, the wrestler must provide written documentation
(which must be on the form supplied by MISSOURI USA WRESTLING and obtained by the participants
club), dated and signed by a physician, within 14 days of the tournament, stating that the suspected
disease or condition is not communicable and that the athlete’s participation would not be harmful to
their opponent. They must also have attached a doctor’s letterhead or a sheet from the doctor’s
prescription pad to the skin form.
Jackson USA Wrestling, Jackson R2 School District, and event volunteers are not responsible for
injuries, accidents, or lost / stolen items.
WRESTLE MISSOURI
Wrestle Missouri is a Tournament Series that will recognize the performance of Missouri
USA athletes based upon a point system from wrestling in selected Missouri USA Wrestling
sanctioned tournaments.

A few basics about the series:
1) The points will be updated within one or two days following weekend competitions. The
points are not updated automatically, so please be patient with the rankings.
2) The results will be posted on Missouri USA Wrestling’s Forums.
3) The top three (3) point scorers in each age division will be recognized as awarded
winners.
