Jeppiaar Engineering College is one of the
premier technical institutions started in the
year 2001 by Col. Dr. Jeppiaar M.A., B.L.,
Ph.D, an eminent industrialist, educationalist,
and a philanthropist who works for the
technical education for more than 3 decades.
Jeppiaar Engineering College is affiliated to
Anna University and in the short span of
time; it has grown into an institution that
provides excellent technical education while
keeping the overall growth and development
of the students in mind.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
To enlighten the novel engineers in this field
a B.Tech. Degree level program in
Information Technology is established in the
year 2001. The Department is certified with
ISO 9001:2008. The department is equipped
with faculties who strive hard to propagate
their knowledge to their students. The
department has elegant infrastructure with
spacious class rooms, seminar halls and to
improve the efficiency of the students the
department
provides
well
equipped
laboratories.
