New IHSS Benefits

Beginning JANUARY 1, 2015, IHSS Providers can get
Important new IHSS benefits!
 IHSS will pay overtime at time and one-half the regular hourly wage.
 Providers may be paid for up to 7 hours a week for travel time between
consumers
These benefits come with NEW RULES and CHANGES:






Providers cannot work more than 61 hours in a week
Consumers will have weekly limits on time their Provider can work
Consumers can ask to move hours around from week to week
Providers and Consumers must fill out new forms
IHSS Timesheets are changing
IHSS Timesheets and paychecks will be mailed separately
IMPORTANT
The State of California has imposed serious penalties for Providers who do
not follow the new overtime and travel time rules
