as Equitable Mines Limited; name changed to Magic Foods Inc. July 24, 1985.
Background: SilverCrest Mines Inc. is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, extraction, and
processing of precious metals in Mexico. The company primarily produces gold and silver. The company's
flagship property is the 100% owned Santa Elena project that comprises 7 mineral concessions totaling 2,726.54
hectares located to the northeast of Hermosillo, the Sonora State. Its other principal property is the La Joya
property, which consists of 15 mineral concessions with a total area of approximately 4,647 hectares located to
the southeast of Durango city, Durango state. The company was formerly known as Strathclair Ventures Ltd. and
changed its name to SilverCrest Mines Inc. in May 2003. SilverCrest Mines Inc. was incorporated in 1973 and is
headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
