POWER BELONGS TO GOD !
There is a power struggle going on in the world today. It is not a war of flesh and
blood. It is the struggle of a very challenging counterfeit rebelling against God.
Satan is truly a challenging imitator. He has a powerful organization. His followers can do powerful acts. And yet, Jesus informs us that Satan is not the one to
fear: But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath
killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
(Luke 12:5)
ABUNDANT LIFE CHRIST

God has greater power. Jesus said: . . . Greater is He (Jesus) that is in you than
he (Satan) that is in the world.
(I John 4:4)
But you know how Jesus came with great power and authority to destroy the evil
works of Satan and how Jesus delegated power over all the power of the enemy
to believers.

Health and Wellness Ministry
Happy New Year Abundant Life CCM Family!
I am so excited about what the Lord has in store for us all in 2015.
God has allowed me the opportunity to work in the field of Medical Social Work since 1993.
I would not be in obedience to Him, if I continue to not share my information with other
Saints.
My goal is to provide helpful information on a monthly basis and to provide additional community resources on an as needed basis. There are many of us that work in the health care
setting on a daily basis. What an exciting way to keep other members in the loop on becoming
a healthier you. For the month of January, most individuals seek to set a positive goal of losing weight, exercising more, and eating healthier meals. Health and wellness has to be more
than just those three elements. We not only have to change what we eat, we have to change
our mindset.
Many of you know that I came to Abundant Life by way of Pastor Lofton (who prefers PJ
while exercising amongst his work out family). The accountability that Pastor Lofton, Elder
Garland, Monique Green, and I were able to establish, motivated us all to exercise on a daily
basis. The more we surround ourselves with like-minded individuals, the easier it will become
to transition into healthier habits.
Here are some things to consider before you begin your journey with Health and Wellness:
Consistency
Meal Planning
Setting realistic goals
Prayer
Discipline
Exercise Regime
Time Management
Physician and Nutritional Counseling
Many of us have been diagnosed with different health conditions, so be sure to speak with
your health care provider prior to starting any type of workout regime. You may also want to
see what your health insurance will offer for free within your current health care benefits.
So let’s get started and do this as a family. Once you begin seeing results in the mirror, it is
amazing how your attitude and overall wellbeing will begin to improve.
