POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMME FOR 2014/2015 ACADEMIC YEAR
COMPUTER SCIENCE PROGRAMME STARTING IN JANUARY 2015
The University of Zambia (UNZA), Department of Computer Studies invites suitably qualified
persons to read for the following MASTER OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
programme for the 2014/2015 academic year at the University of Zambia. If you are looking
for a career in Computer Science at Postgraduate level, then this is a programme for you.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum entry requirements to the programme are as follows:
 Bachelor's degree from University of Zambia or any recognized University
 Minimum of a credit or better in Computer Sciences (BSc) or any other related field.
PROGRAMME DURATION
These are evening classes (after 17:00hrs) starting in January 2015. The duration is as follows;
 2 Year on Full Time (1 year Course Work and 1 Year Research)

METHOD OF APPLYING
Application forms can be obtained from the UNZA Website http://www.unza.zm/ or
http://cs.unza.zm/ OR Directorate of Research and Graduate Studies. Completed
application forms should be accompanied by a payment of a non- refundable application
fee of K150, 000.00 for Zambians and US$60.00 for non-Zambians. POSTAL AND MONEY
ORDERS ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED. Money should be deposited in UNZA DIRECTORATE OF
POSTGRADUATE, Account Number 0100110272200 Standard Chartered Main Branch Lusaka.
The application forms should be accompanied by a copy of the original deposit slip to the
