hospital stay. You will be liable for any charges/shortfall not covered by your health insurance.

Should your infant(s) require admission to the Neonatal Unit, they will be treated privately.

You should contact your private health insurer on the birth to have the infant(s) added to your health
insurance policy.

• The hospital operates a Direct Payment Scheme with all the Irish Private Health Insurance
Companies.
• You will be required to sign the relevant Insurance Forms on admission to hospital.
• Charges specified above are determined by the Department of Health – Health Amendment Act 2013
and are subject to change.
