radiation safety training course for cardiology
registrars. The program consists of:

• pre-course reading
• attendance at a one day course consisting
of theory and practical sessions
• formal assessment (multiple choice
and short answer questions).

the program with a certificate of
successful completion.
Certification
Radiation Health has approved this course
to fulfill the radiation safety training
requirements for the granting of a radiation
use licence to a cardiology registrar.
Only radiation use licensees are permitted to
use radiation apparatus under the Radiation
Safety Act 1999.

This course is for registrars who wish to apply
for a radiation use licence.
