Meeting was called to order by Vice President Judy Coleman at 12:10.
Last meeting minutes were read & approved (Jake 1st, Scott 2nd).
The Treasurer’s Report was read:

A Thank You letter was received from the South Umpqua School Foundation for the
Chamber’s support of the ‘Throw the Flag’ fundraiser.
The Bunco fundraiser for the Youth/Community Center project is Monday, January 26 th,
doors open at 5:00 for dinner & Bunco starts about 5:30. Tickets are $25, available from
Judy or Jake. Posters are going up. Javelin & Cameron will help.
On January 7th, Javelin & Clarice attended the Cow Creek’s presentation of the $10,000
Community Center project grant check and a plaque for the Buss Rondeau award.
Javelin reported on the diverse distribution of grant monies by the Tribe and Javelin
thanked them for help to us and their community support.
Steve introduced FBLA student Eddie Lenning, who reported on the FBLA’s fundraising
work running concessions.
Dan reported on the Community Center project and distributed a Phased project
budget, which helps in our grant efforts. Another grant writer may be available. A motion
was made (Jake 1st, Javelin 2nd) to contact Victory Builders to move forward with Phase
I, since that amount is now available.
Christine Turvey & Teresa Thresher explained the Afterschool BOK / YMCA program
which includes snacks. A motion was made to donate $500 (Jake 1 st, Javelin 2nd) and
was passed.
Scott reported CASA is starting another class & distributed flyers for local businesses.
Citizen Banquet tickets are available for $40 from Brian, and is to be held on February
7th, doors open at 6 pm, dinner at 7 pm in Seven Feathers Convention Center.
The meeting adjourned about 1:00.
