Father, we pray that those left behind might feel the peace and the comfort of your presence and release
their loved ones into your waiting arms.
(Theresa Cole)
We are continuing this month with the
second installment of The Jesus I Knew
by Hugh Lynn Cayce. Hugh Lynn was a
gifted speaker and had a very personal
relationship with Jesus the Christ. This
subject matter was a favorite topic of his
and Hugh Lynn’s perspective on the
readings and the Christ is invaluable.
In the previous selection, he spoke about
God is love and the law of love. If this is
your first issue of the prayer letter, or for
any who did not receive the previous
segment and wish to have a copy, please
e-mail [email protected] with the
subject line: The Jesus I Knew.

THE JESUS I KNEW:
Hugh Lynn Cayce
Let’s not lose sight of this point:
that the soul has simply reached
out into matter. We haven’t, however, moved over totally. For a long
time now people have been correct in saying that we are not all
here! In this sense, there is only a
part of the soul in us. It’s part of a
reach, of a whole, but the consciousness has moved to the level
of this three-dimensional plane.
So, in this plane, we have shut ourselves off. We must move in consciousness back to where we can
perceive oneness of all force. Then,
we can begin to relate to God; He
has no intention of losing us! We
only lose consciousness of Him.
So this concept of love is partly
our way of looking at how we
perceive God. We create God and
perceive that He acts as we would
if we were God. That is a very
limited concept. As we move and
expand our own consciousness,
we come closer to God awareness.
Think about how we look at a human being. We look at the body
and say, we are this. Now we
know that this is not entirely true,
but we act as if this body is all of
us. We can’t wait to get to the
table; we think we’re going to

AS HELP IS RECEIVED, REMEMBER TO THANK GOD, THE GIVER OF ALL GOOD AND PERFECT GIFTS.
The Edgar Cayce readings emphasize the importance that those who are seeking help
and healing through prayer actively participate in the prayer effort—praying for
themselves and others on the list—creating a cooperative prayer effort. In the giving
comes the receiving.

We get caught up in the emotional life of anger, hate,

Now when we think of the mind and its confusions,
we can see how it would keep us from loving because
it creates all kinds of strange patterns and desires.
Frequently it is in conflict with our will. The will of
the soul is to return to God consciousness, but the
patterns that we create in the mind cuts us off from
our ability to love. That is all that cuts us off.
Though we are created in the image of God, it is
hard for us to see this because of the patterns we’ve
built, the negative thoughts we hold of each other
rather than seeing the God in others.
