retiring Director of San Pedro River Historical Society
(Benson Museum). The celebration will be held
this Sunday, January 25th, from 2 to 4 PM.
After years of community involvement, her
accomplishments stand as a shinning example of
perseverance and leadership to all who know her or have
enjoyed an event that was hosted by the Museum.
In other words "Cheryl in Action". To quote an officer
of the Benson Museum:
“We would not be as advanced, even while stepping
back in time, if it were not for Cheryl."
After taking over numerous community activities that
would have "fallen by the wayside", the Museum, with
Cheryl's direction, has become the "go-to place" for
seasonal activities, ongoing social spotlights, craft shows,
farmers market and bake sales. It's a nice place to meander
under the trees, viewing vendors' wares on Saturdays in
spring, summer and fall.
Come see the fruits of her passion, and be part
of the tribute to Cheryl, "our tireless trail blazer".
There will be food, activities and excitement on the
Benson Museum grounds. Join us Sunday, Jan. 25th,
