Students
An acknowledgement of enrolment for the final year of a Master degree.

In accordance with Article 3 of the F.R.S.-FNRS Rules and regulations for Research Fellows (ASP-Aspirant), the fellowship for Research Fellow (ASPAspirant) is open to the holders of :
- 1° a master degree for a value of at least 120 credits awarded by a Higher Education Institution within the French-speaking Community of Belgium;
- 2° a master degree for a value of at least 120 credits awarded by a Higher Education Institution within the Dutch-speaking Community, Germanspeaking Community or from the Royal Military Academy.
- 3° Another degree as referred to in Article 115 of the French-speaking Community of Belgium Decree of 7 November 2013 that defines higher
education and the academic organization of the studies.
Graduates
Applicants who hold a degree as referred to in paragraph 1, 1° , are required to provide a certificate of achievement or a copy of the diploma.

Applicants who hold a degree as referred to in paragraph 1, 3°, are required to provide a certificate that enables the enrolment in doctoral programmes
by the university where the studies will be made.

The presence of these appendices will be verified by the competent departments of the F.R.S.-FNRS.
REMARK ON DOCUMENTS REGARDING MEDICAL ETHICS
AND THE USE OF EXPERIMENTAL ANIMALS
In the event the considered research involves human beings or material experiments or removals and/or the use of experimental animals, the applicant is required to
fill in and send the appropriate questionnaire signed by the relevant Ethics Committee to the F.R.S.-FNRS before 1st May 2015. This document shouldn't be uploaded
on Semaphore, but sent by post to the F.R.S.-FNRS (Rue d’Egmont, 5 – 1000 Brussels).
Therefore it is recommended that the applicant undertake the procedure in advance to obtain the opinion letter from the relevant Ethics Committee (which received
th
full recognition in accordance with the law of 7 May 2004) regarding the submitted research project.
