Wiring with onboard dimming
Refer to the example illustrations below to determine where to place your dimmer
along the center wall of the enclosure so that the dimming and power wires
remain on their respective sides. Remove the corresponding knockout in the
center wall and secure the dimmer in place.
Connect the fixture to power as shown on page 5.
Wire and configure the dimmer according to the dimmer manufacturer’s instructions.

Maintenance
13
Electrical preventive maintenance
Big Ass Light suggests an electrical preventive maintenance program similar to
that described in NFPA 70B: Recommended Practice For Electrical Equipment
Maintenance by the National Fire Protection Association.
Removing and replacing the lenses
The lenses are designed to be removable for cleaning or replacement. Note:
Handle lenses with care.
To remove a lens, grasp the end grip and gently slide the lens out as shown.
To insert a lens, slide in and push firmly until the grip is flush with the edge of
the fixture.
Cleaning the lenses
!
CAUTION: Do not clean the fixture—especially the lenses—with
scouring pads, alkaline cleaning substances, gasoline, thinner,
benzene, heating oil, glycol, alcohol, or polishing powder.
!
CAUTION: Do not pressure wash or use a water hose to clean the
fixture.
Clean the lenses periodically to ensure optimal performance. Remove lenses
and wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Allow to dry thoroughly before replacing. If
necessary, use a mild soap or a gentle liquid cleaner.
