AVID Center Path to Schoolwide
Path to Schoolwide trainings focus on schoolwide AVID strategies and methodologies for high
school and/or middle school teachers. Implementation trainings are designed for those new to the AVID Elective who
have not had an opportunity to attend an Implementation strand at one of AVID’s Summer Institutes. Path to
Schoolwide offers strands to support implementation of AVID Elementary across the school. Foundations is the initial
implementation course for teachers new to AVID Elementary. Experienced participants will deepen their knowledge by
taking Just WICORize It! or The Art of Inquiry. AVID Elementary: Administrators and District Directors-Elementary –
Embarking on the Journey is the initial strand for school leaders. Path to Schoolwide trainings include two days of
professional learning and all materials. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served on each day of training.
