Learn about all the campus services that make your student’s tiger life easier! Information will be
provided about the Tiger Card (LSU ID), LSU Dining, LSU Bookstore, TigerCASH, vending,
printing, laundry, as well as living and parking on campus. You will also hear about LSU
partnerships with Campus Federal Credit Union, Cox Communications, Verizon and much more!

policies, grading procedures, important dates and overview of a semester at LSU.

This session will provide an overview of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974
(FERPA) and how it affects parental access to student records. Also, you will get an overview of
other student services available through the Office of the University Registrar.

You will receive information on applying for financial aid, grants, loans, work study, and
scholarships. You will also learn about the TOPS scholarships, financial aid awarding procedures,
and how financial aid works with LSU’s billing system.

Learn proven strategies you can share to ease your student’s transition to LSU. The Center for

Safety and Security at LSU

The safety of all members of the LSU community is a shared responsibility and of the utmost
importance. This session will include tips and information from the LSU Police Department on how
to keep yourself and your belongings safe and secure at LSU. We will discuss Emergency Text
Messaging and the “See Something, Say Something” public awareness campaign.

COMPLETING REGISTRATION




All fees for the spring semester are due by 4:30 pm on Tuesday, January 13. Fee bills will not be
mailed.
Payments can be made online via the student’s myLSU account with a check or credit card or in
person at the Bursar’s Office after scheduling courses and selecting additional services.
All students must complete their registration by paying tuition fees or by clicking the “Complete
Registration” button if they have a $0 balance.
