About the Workshop
Shri B. M. Shah College of Pharmaceutical
Education and Research,
Modasa was
established in the year 1998 with the initiation
of visionary trustees of The M. L. Gandhi
Higher Education Society to cater the needs of
pharmacy education in rural and backward
areas like Sabarkantha in Gujarat.
The Pharmacy education in our country has
witnessed tremendous expansion in last one
decade. Pharmacy practice is poised for

India Council of Technical Education (AICTE)
and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi.
Institute runs AICTE approved PG courses in

Pharmaceutics,
Quality
Assurance,
Industrial
Pharmacy
and
Pharmaceutical Analysis.
Vision of the institute is to nurture the
students for educational excellence and
scientific temperament with moral and ethical
values that built the spirit of health care.
Students had successfully realized our vision and
mission within a few years by getting higher
rank in GATE, GRE, TOFEL and university
examination. The institute maintains excellence
in academic and research activities. Our devoted
teachers provide learning atmosphere and
caring the students. Staff members are
encouraged for carrier development. Thirty
three scholars have been completed their Ph. D.
from this Institute.
The institute is well equipped with
conventional Analytical and Sophisticated
instruments like double beam UV, FT-IR, AAS,
Spectrofluorimeter, GC, HPLC, HPTLC, and
modern equipments for the manufacture of
drug formulations.

The National Seminar is aimed for motivating

orientation. The invited speakers are well
renowned and great expertise in their respective
fields. The topics of discussions are adapted in
such a way to focus the most critical aspects of
Global Scenario of Pharmacy Education:
Challenges and Opportunity. The seminar will
provide a platform for interaction between
students, researchers, academicians and expert
from industry

Abstracts of research or review paper
comprising not more 300 words, summarizing
in a single page including the basic objective,
experimental/ theoretical methods, important
findings and conclusion along with few
references, neatly typed in Times New Roman
(12) cm on A4 size paper with single spacing
(send abstract by E-mail only), by 20th January,
2015 along with the duly filled in registration
form to [email protected] .The
acceptance of Papers for presentation will be
intimated.
