What is I-SHARe?
I-SHARe stands for „Information Sharing across Heterogeneous
Administrative Regions„
It is a tool for supporting the operations in a multi-domain environment
Makes the co-delivery of end to end links across multiple domains:
Easier
More efficient
Seamless
Quicker
Provides a shared information and tracking tool for NRENs’ operational
teams.
Better than email, phones.
Does not automate anything but facilitates co-operation.

Advantages of I-SHARe approach
Central repository of information about E2E links in the multi-domain
enviroment
Supports people instead of automating their tasks
Helpful especially when new hardware has to be installed and experts
work needs to be coordinated
Does not make any decisions but facilitates it.

In scope of SA2 T5 activity that works on tools supporting multidomain
workflows
Current version 1.0 has been implemented in GN3
