Festival of
Faith
Festival of Faith will be held on Thursday evenings
for St. Mark members and the Boerne community. After
enjoying a meal and hearing from the featured speaker,
there will be a variety of classes from which to choose.
Classes and activities are for all ages – adults, youth,
children and nursery age.

Rev. Michael Brundeen is a disciple, a father, a husband, a mentor, a friend, and pastor of St Mark
Presbyterian Church. He, like you, is going through life seeking to understand God more and more each day.
Michael enjoys reading, basketball, golf, and mystery/detective shows.
Tommy Hungate is currently in his 5th year as Boerne Middle School North principal. He graduated from the
University of Texas in 1983. He taught at Covington Middle School in Austin and Rudder Middle School in San
Antonio before being hired as assistant principal of Boerne Middle School North in 2007, where he served
before being promoted to principal. He married his wife, Angela, in 1989 and has have two wonderful children
Chaplain Ed Brogan has served around the world as a Presbyterian Pastor, Air Force Chaplain, and just
retried as Director of the Presbyterian Council for Chaplains & Military Personnel. He also recently finished a
term as the national president of the Military Chaplain Association. Ed has degrees including a B.S. from MIT,
Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from McCormick
Theological Seminary. He retired from the service in 2001 as a Colonel with his final duty as the senior
chaplain at Arlington National Cemetery. He and his wife Sandy (a St. Mark member) settled in Boerne and
enjoy being near both sons and their grandchildren.
Fully Clingman, past-President and Chief Operating Officer of HEB, served 19 years in that capacity,
culminating a 28 year career with the company. In addition to his business career at HEB, Fully has served on
multiple Board of Directors including CarMax, NuStar Energy, Schnucks, RackSpace and Nature Sweet
Tomatoes. His Board memberships have included non-profits such as The Briscoe Western Art Museum, The
San Antonio Livestock & Rodeo Show and a charter board member in founding Haven for Hope. He served as
the first protestant (and male) Chair of The University of the Incarnate Word. Fully and his wife, Gloria, are
members of Trinity Baptist Church.

1 CONVERSATION WITH FEATURED SPEAKER
Continued deeper discussion of the evening's topic, including question & answer session with speaker
2 TENETS OF THE REFORMED FAITH led by Rev Gene Horne
The tenets are the foundational convictions, drawn from Scripture and contained in the creeds and confessions,
of our Presbyterian Reformed faith. Rev Gene Horne, retired Pastor of Leon Springs Presbyterian Church, will
lead the class to learn more about these foundations.
3 TOOLKIT FOR A HEALTHY FAMILY led by Molly Little
This class will help you discover the tools needed for building a spiritually and emotionally healthy family. Molly
is a member of St. Mark, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
4 HISTORY OF HYMNS led by Stephanie Nichols
Ever wonder about the history of some of the glorious hymns we sing? Stephanie Nichols, a member of the St
Mark choir, will lead the class to learn about our heritage of hymns.
5 ELEMENTARY CLASS led by Jennifer Agarwal, St Mark Director of Christian Education
6 YOUTH CLASS led by Chester Berg, St Mark Youth Director
